Basic Policy
The Japan Snowdome Association (hereinafter referred to as "the Association"), a non-profit organization, handles the personal information of individuals, including examinees, course participants, and Association staff members, for operation of instructor certification courses. The Association believe that the protection of personal information is fundamental to activities and that it is Association’s social responsibility to manage it appropriately. Based on this common belief, all staff members of the Association including directors, will work to protect personal information based on the basic policy set forth below.
Details

The Association will specify the purpose in advance when the the Association ask individuals to provide us with personal information, and will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve that purpose (hereinafter referred to as "use for other purposes"). The Association prohibit the use of personal information for purposes other than those specified and will take necessary measures to ensure this. If it becomes necessary to use the information for any other purpose, the Association will inform the individuals of the purpose and obtain his or her consent before handling the information.

The Association will not disclose or provide personal information provided by individuals to any third party, except in the following cases,
- When the individuals give consent.
- When the Association entrusts the handling of personal information to a subcontractor with whom the Association has concluded a confidentiality agreement regarding personal information, within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose specified to the individuals.
- When the information is processed as statistical data so that individuals cannot be identified.
- When disclosure of personal information is required by legal order, etc.

If individuals would like to confirm their own personal information, please contact the "Inquiries" section below. In order to prevent leaks to third parties, the Association will only inform individuals when it has confirmed their identity. The Association will also follow the same procedures to respond to requests for changes or deletion of the person's personal information, as well as complaints and consultations.

The Association will strictly store and manage the personal information that individuals provide, and will take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access to, loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information.

The Association will comply with laws, national guidelines, and other standards related to personal information.
Handling of Personal Information
As a organization that handles personal information, the Japan Snowdome Association considers the protection and appropriate management of such information to be a social responsibility, and is working diligently to fulfill this responsibility in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law.
The personal information that individuals provide when they register for an examination will be used to ensure the smooth operation of the certification course, to provide services such as issuing a "certificate" to those who have passed the course, and to compile statistics on those who have taken the course. In addition, the information may be entrusted to a subcontractor for business operations. If the Association wish to use the personal information for any other purpose, the association will do so only after obtaining individuals’ consent.
