To All Snowdome Lovers Important Notice
We sincerely thank you for your continued patronage of the Snowdome Museum.
This museum will close our business at Landmark Plaza in Yokohama on
Sunday, May 31, 2026.
The world's only Snow Globe Museum,which opened in 2007 as a tiny museum at Setagaya IID In 2022,
we relocated to Yokohama due to facility aging, and this year marks our 20th anniversary.
We have continued museum operations thanks to your warm support,
but we have now decided to temporarily close our physical store.
For the time being, we will continue activities centered around pop-up sales and exhibitions.
Online sales and external workshops will continue.
Repair services will resume once the current batch of items in our care is completed.
We are also diligently preparing for a new format for our instructor training courses.
Since relocating here, we have delivered snow globes to over 10,000 visitors
and hosted workshops attended by more than 4,000 people.
Last year, we were honored by a visit from the Austrian Ambassador to Japan.
While we feel a sense of regret, we also feel we have fulfilled our mission here.
Though we are still learning, the smiles of all you who love snow globes have encouraged us,
allowing us to continue operating the museum until now.
We express our heartfelt gratitude once again.
We sincerely look forward to meeting you all again in the near future.
